Nice...that last pic looks like the open maw of a giant squid, getting ready to suck down a school of guppies or something :)
OH my god we ARE related! You are far more artsie than I realized!Gotta love the Nipple picture it's priceless. I can't get to the pictures where I am but I'd love to buy my mom a purse if you have anything in blue and green?
The purse is adorable! Can't wait to see the wallet. I am dying for an Amy Butler wallet from the Olive lacework pattern, scoured Etsy for one, but no luck...I have to restrain myself from ordering even more of that pattern... When I am human-size again.I will make a skirt from it. Vicki
so i'm a teacher of the Deaf in an inner city high school in buffalo. i am married to gerry... he has been the love of my life since 8th grade. we have 2 crazily fabulous boys, clayton (6 and a HALF!!!)and carter (2). growing up, my mother was pretty much the town seamstress. most people in the surrounding zip codes had their prom dresses (then bridesmaid dresses, and then even later, wedding dresses) as well as other various tailoring done by my mom. she never taught me how to sew though. it was easier for her to do things for me than to teach me how to do them myself. it was not until last november when i was taking a class with hollyhocks (check out her link, she rocks!) that i started to get my sew on. then, by chance tina found out i was sewing and we started talking sewing, and ever since then we have both been sewing like it is nobodies business!
